What is the recommended amount of hydrogen water to drink?

Hydrogen concentration refers to the amount of molecular hydrogen dissolved in water,
measured in parts per billion (PPB). This concentration determines how much hydrogen water you need to consume to experience its therapeutic benefits. The higher the hydrogen concentration, the less you need to drink to meet your recommended daily intake.

General guidelines suggest drinking 1-2 bottles (approximately 500-1000 ml) of hydrogen water per day to maximise potential health benefits. However, specific scientific studies may vary, and individual needs can differ. Always consult with your healthcare professional for personalised advice.

How long does hydrogen last?

In ourLuxHydro water bottles, hydrogen remains dissolved in the water between 1 to 2 hours after opening, due to our advanced technology and design. For optimal freshness and hydrogen concentration, it's best to consume the water soon after opening the bottle and keep it sealed when not in use.

How can I clean my LuxHydro bottle?

We take pride in the effortless maintenance of our water bottles. For optimal care, clean the bottle with citric acid every 2-4 weeks. The bottle body and base of the hydrogen-rich water bottle can be separated. You can twist and unscrew the cup body, and the cup body can be rinsed directly with water. The base can only be wiped with a wet towel.

Please do not put the base in water or rinse the base directly with water. The circuit board and battery inside the base can cause malfunction and damage due to water intrusion.

What type of water can I use?

Our hydrogen water bottles are compatible with all potable water types. Please see each product in our collection for specifications on water types. For optimal performance and maximum hydrogen enrichment, we recommend using purified or distilled water.

Who can drink hydrogen water?

Everyone! If you have specific health concerns or medical conditions, we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional before use.

Why is there water in the cup I received?

To maintain the optimal performance of LuxHydro's hydrogen-rich water cup, it's essential to keep the ion membrane moist. During production, purified water is added to the electrolytic cell, and a dust cover is placed over it for storage. This process ensures the ion membrane remains active, preserving the superior quality and effectiveness of your LuxHydro experience.

Can I use my LuxHydro bottle to electrolyse other beverages?

No, the LuxHydro hydrogen-rich water cup is specifically designed for preparing hydrogen-rich water and should not be used with other beverages such as tea, coffee, wine, or other drinks. These beverages contain impurities that can clog and damage the
electrolyser, compromising the performance and longevity of your LuxHydro product.

Why is my LuxHydro bottle leaking?

If you experience water seepage or leakage with your LuxHydro hydrogen-rich water cup, it is often due to a misaligned sealing ring, improper installation, or components that aren't fully tightened. To address the issue, check the location of the leakage, ensure the sealing ring is correctly positioned, and verify that all parts are securely fastened.

Why are there discrepancies between my PPB and ORP test results?

Given the variations in water quality worldwide, test results for hydrogen concentration will naturally differ. Factors such as total dissolved solids (TDS) value, pH level, water quality, and temperature can influence the production of PPB and changes in Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP). For LuxHydro hydrogen-rich water with a concentration exceeding 1300 ppb, we recommend using a professional hydrogen blue reagent for accurate testing.


Please note that most electronic hydrogen measuring pens available on the market are not capable of measuring the ppb value of high-concentration hydrogen-rich water.

Can the hydrogen-rich water cup change the ORP value and PH value of water?

The main function of the hydrogen-rich water cup is to generate hydrogen-rich water and reduce the ORP value of the water (note that it is reducing, not generating ORP).

The reduction range is 200-600. But the hydrogen-rich water cup will not necessarily change the PH value of the water! For example: Before work, the ORP value of the source water is + 100mV. After the water cup is electrolysed, the ORP value of the water will change to -200mV, which is also a normal phenomenon because the ORP value of the water is reduced by 300.

What should you pay attention to when cleaning the hydrogen-rich water cup on a daily basis?

The cup body and base of the
hydrogen-rich water cup can be separated. You can twist and unscrew the cup body, and the cup body can be rinsed directly with water.

The base can only be wiped with a wet towel. Do not put the base in water or rinse the base directly with water. The circuit board and battery inside the base can cause malfunction and damage due
to water intrusion.

When the hydrogen-rich water cup is electrolysed, there are fewer bubbles or the electrolytic cell is scaled. What should be done?

Mix food-grade citric acid descaler and water in a ratio of 1:20 and soak the electrolyser for about 30 minutes. If citric acid is not available, white vinegar can be used instead. Just add white vinegar and soak the electrolyser for 60 minutes.

Pour out the mixed solution, add clean water to clean the electrolyser, pour it out again, and repeat water cleaning 2-3 times.

If the scale on the electrolyser is significantly reduced and the electrolysis bubbles increase, it proves that the ion membranes has returned to normal. If the effect is not obvious, please repeat the above steps.

Remember, please do not open the equipment while the electrolyser is soaking.

How to obtain high concentration hydrogen-rich water?

Continuously producing hydrogen in 12 minute mode for two or three times can increase the PPB concentration of hydrogen-rich water. However, after each 12 minute mode operation, you need to open the lid to release the air pressure before starting the next 12 minute mode operation.
